As is often the case at our Latin American events, we’ve got Duelists from all over the Americas participating this weekend. Here are our bounties! Who will take home all those extra Packs?!
Taking a break from the Ultimate Duelist Series – Winter Invitational Main Event, there are some pretty awesome Side Events going on. The most popular one currently is the Konami Bounty event, so not only do Duelists have the chance to win prizes from Konami employees, but random rules are announced during each Round that can throw a Duel into utter chaos! In the final Round of this tournament, we have chosen none other than the President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. US to feature: Yasuyuki Yamaji. Yamaji-san is Dueling with Kozmos, and packing a bunch of sweet Premium Gold: Infinite Gold cards in his Deck. His opponent, Luis Castro, has chosen Atlantean Mermail for this event, trying to take advantage of its explosive power.
An announcement was made before the Round that if Yamaji-san loses, every participant will win a playmat! Can Castro defeat Yamaji-san with such a weight on his shoulders? Or will Yamaji-san get a chance to show the world his Dueling skills?
Yamaji-san won the roll and chose to go first.
It’s Time to Duel!
This weekend, we are in hot and slightly humid Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the last YCS of the Americas of 2015! It’s weird to be in the middle of summer and seeing Christmas decorations…
As is often the case, we went the international route when selecting the Bounty for this Latin American YCS. One Duelist, as we enter Round 8, goes undefeated! Read more…
As today’s competitors work to build their Sealed Decks, we thought we’d take a peek at the Bounty Duelists for this weekend! Bounty Duelists are hand-picked by the tournament staff: with every win they rack up, they build a stack of booster packs. But if you beat a bounty Duelist, you get all the packs they’ve collected so far! So who’s in the hot seat this weekend? Check it out!
I had a lot of fun at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Extravaganza! I played in the Bounty Tournament, and I got to be the first person in the United States to play with the new Legendary Six Samurai cards at an event! The big draw of the new Six Samurai Deck is the Synchro Monster Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En. Shi En, along with the other new monsters from Storm of Ragnarok that let you Special Summon add speed and durability that older Six Samurai Decks lacked. With more ways to Summon and more ways to negate or get rid of your opponent’s cards, the new Legendary Six Samurai Deck can take on any Deck!
Hello, you might remember me as the guy at the Bounty Tournament who played the new Nordic Deck at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Extravaganza this past weekend. Lots of people were excited to see the Aesir in action, so I’m writing this to tell you which new cards I played and how I did. Almost half my Deck was made up of Storm of Ragnarok cards. Here are the ones I used:
