Over 1800 Duelists have been reduced to just the Top 32!
While the Snake-Eye Decks have performed phenomenally at this event, there’s
still a variety of other Decks too. This Feature Match pits two of these Decks against
each other! First up is Jesus Arroyo, from Hartford, CT, playing a pure
Kashtira Deck today. His opponent is Eric Topel, here from Schortens, Germany,
representing Branded Despia. These are the last Duelists playing these Decks in
the tournament, but only one can advance to the Top 16!
Welcome to Round 6! These Duelists are well on their way to
a potential Top Cut finish, but there’s still a ways to go! From Toronto, ON,
we have Dylan Fricker playing Sky Strikers. He’s facing Jose Maya, from Queens,
NY, playing Branded Despia.
We’re only halfway through the first day of Dueling, and the
matches are only getting better! In this Feature Match we have David
Borgognoni, from Little Rock, AK, playing Branded Despia. He’s facing Dylan
Robertson, from Valley, NE, using a Bystial Spright Synchro Deck!
It all comes down to this! Caleb Hernandez, from Upland, CA,
won yesterday’s Dragon Duel event, and he’s back to face Connor Rosenstein,
from Portland, OR, the winner of today’s event! The winner of this Match will
take home a set of the Darklord Prize Cards, as well as the exclusive 250th
YCS Dragon Duel trophy!
It all comes down to this! Today’s Dragon Duel winner is Connor Rosenstein, playing a Branded Despia Deck. He’s facing off against yesterday’s winner, Aiden Moneke, with a Kashtira Deck. These Duelists are both from Oregon, and are already friends before this Duel. They’re also both Dragon Duel Champions from past events – in fact, they’ve literally played in a Dragon Duel Championship against each other at past events! Two friends, two champions, but only one can become the new TEAM YCS Las Vegas Dragon Duel Champion!
Welcome to Day 2 of TEAM YCS Las Vegas! We’ve got 2 more Swiss rounds before we finally cut to the Top 16 teams. For this Match we have a YCS Champion, Team Honorary Members’ Shunping Xu, playing an Adventure Kashtira Deck. He’s facing a WCQ winner, the Kentucky Boyz’ Chester Henson, playing Branded Despia. These are two first class Duelists, so we should be in for a great Match!
