We’re 8 rounds into YCS Indianapolis, but there’s still more to go! We have Victor Lu, a Floo-rida Duelist. That’s a Floowandereeze Duelist from Florida! He’s facing Davon Amos Hall, from Michigan, playing Labrynth! Both these Decks tend to play outside the typical norms of other top tier strategies, but how will they fare against each other? There’s only one way to find out!
We have Ed Acepcion, from Las Vegas, NV, playing a Mikanko Deck,
featuring a ton of new tech from Age of Overlord. There’s a Sinful
Spoils package to help him get to Infernoble Knight – Renaud, as well as
a mix of Ken the Warrior Dragon and Gen the Diamond Tiger, which
enable Triple Tactics Talent and Triple Tactics Thrust, Change
of Heart, and a Geonator Transverser + Number 30: Acid Golem of
Destruction combo! His opponent is Charles Morton, from Lexington,
KY, rocking a Floowandereeze Deck! He’s got some cool tech like Simorgh,
Bird of Perfection and Time-Tearing Morganite. Floowandereeze are
basically immune to the Acid Golem combo, so Acepcion will have to fight
through Morton’s birds the hard way.
For this Round 3 Feature Match, we have YCS Champion Shunping Xu, from Philadelphia, PA, playing Shaddoll Tearlaments! His opponent is Caleb Mangin, from Valders, WI, repping the Floowandereeze. Two strategies with very different gameplans, but both renowned for their ability to make a lot of plays on their opponent’s turn.
These Duelists put forth an amazing showing here at the 250th
YCS in Los Angeles. While they won’t be able to claim the title, one of them
can still walk away with the Super Rare Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card! It’s
Shunping Xu’s Runick Kashtira against Jacob Banuelos’s Floowandereeze. It’s
time to Duel!
