There are three different types of Public Events awarding GIANT cards here at YCS Indianapolis this weekend – ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!, Speed Duel ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!, and the Ultimate Time Wizard Tournament. Check out the first place prizes for all of these tournaments!

Just like with Advanced Constructed, Speed Duel also has an ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! Event at every YCS. We are now in the finals of Saturday’s Speed Duel Giant Card Event. Our two finalists are Jordan Farris, Elkmont, AL, and Dakota Childers, from Rock Hill, SC. 37 Speed Duelists participated in today’s Giant Card event and we are down to the final 2. Let’s see what happens…

Farris is using a Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight deck, with Mai Valentine’s Battle City Siren Skill. Childers is using a Dyna Tank Deck with Sartorius’ Destructive Fate Skill. 

Some of the most popular events at every YCS are ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! and Ultimate Time Wizard. Both events award some of the coolest prizes as Duelists have a chance to walk away with Giant Card versions of popular cards right now.

This weekend at YCS Raleigh 2024, there are 5 different Giant Cards that will be given out for specific Public Events. Let’s take a look at what is on the line this weekend.

One of the BIGGEST attractions at each YCS weekend is the ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! tournament. The Top 3 finishers in this Public Event get their pick of unique, massive printings of some of the hottest new cards in the game. 2nd and 3rd Place receive oversized cards, and the winner gets a truly giant-sized card. ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! is a fan-favorite Public Event, and with good reason. Who doesn’t love seeing GIANT versions of their favorite cards? This weekend there are 3 events awarding these GIANT-sized prizes, as well as oversized cards for the top-ranked finishers.

The retro format Ultimate Time Wizard Tournament is an extremely popular event, and the prize for this weekend’s tournament is none other than the legendary Xyz Monster, Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn!

ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! is a fan favorite public event, with good reason! Who doesn’t want an exclusive, Giant-sized version of an iconic card that you can show off to your friends whenever they come over to Duel? It’s awesome. This weekend, Duelists who take 1st Place in the Saturday or Sunday ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! tournaments can win one of these two Giant Cards, featuring key monsters for the Branded theme newly released in Cyberstorm Access.

At every YCS weekend there are special opportunities and unique rewards for the Duelists who play the hardest, score the most wins, and earn the most tracked points for competing in Public Events. Usually the biggest incentive to get on the grind is a seat in the Public Events Points Playoff, a 2-Round single elimination tournament with four Duelists, where the winner’s awarded a Super Rare YCS Prize Card.

But this weekend there’s an all-new prize in addition to that. The one Duelist who earns the most Public Events Points between Saturday and Sunday gets an Ultra Rare foil Giant Card version of Anotherverse Dragon, complete with serialized text declaring it as having been won at the North American 250th YCS.
