The Remote Duel Extravaganza is nearing its finale – we’re
down to the Top 16 Duelists! Only one can earn the set of Ultra Rare Prize
Cards: Darklord Asmodeus, Darklord Superbia, and Darklord Edeh
Arae!
To kick things off, we’re back with Emmanuel Lilly and his Generaider Deck! This New York Duelist won his Round 5 Feature Match yesterday, and he’s returned to show off this unique strategy. His opponent is Leonardo Sacchetti, from Italy, playing Kashtira. It’s the most popular Deck for a reason, with a lot of powerful monsters and consistent combos. Will Kashtira be able to overcome the wall of disruption created by the Generaiders?
We’re in Round 3 of the Main Event, with another Feature
Match! Carlos Pecina is from Houston, TX, using an Adventure Synchron Deck
featuring the new Revolution Synchron! His opponent is Jose Lopez
Zambrano, from New York, using Kashtira!
The Top 4 Duelists may have qualified for the World
Championship, but there’s more than that on the line. There is also… glory!
These Duelists want to claim 1st place, and the full set of Photon
Hypernova and Cyberstorm Access Starlight Rare Cards! We’ve got a
Kashtira mirror Match, with Lars Bergquist, from Miami, FL, up against Gerardo
Varela, from Stockton, CA. It’s time to Duel!
Welcome to Day 2 of the North America World Championship Qualifier! We’re starting things off with a banger! We have Justin Ly, from Forsyth, GA, playing Kashtira. This has proven to be the Deck to beat this weekend, but it’s not quite as dominant as it was in past events. Looking to take down Kashtira is David Tucker, from Chicago, IL, playing Synchrons! These Duelists have 6-2-1 records, putting them both on the bubble. A win is needed here for a shot at the Top Cut!
We’re heading into Round 7 with one of highest ranked Purrely players in the event so far! Jose Santiago Torres, from Lowell, MA, has been using these furry friends to finish with flair. His opponent is Jeremy Mitchell, from Jacksonville, FL, playing the tried and true Kashtira. It’s a powerful and consistent strategy, with many Duelists resting their hopes on the Deck.
Only four Duelists remain! Bill Wei is fresh off his Top 8
Feature Match win with his Kashtira Deck. He’s up against Steven Santoli, the
only Duelist to make the Top Cut with Exosisters. These Duelists are just two
wins away from the title of Remote Duel YCS Champion and a guaranteed Anotherverse
Dragon Prize Card!
Mike Thomas, from Chicago, is back for another Feature Match! Despite his terrible luck in his previous Round 7 Feature Match, he was able to persevere with his Dragon Link Deck to the Top 8! He’s up against Bill Wei, from Indiana, playing Kashtira. They’ve played well to make it this far, but only one of these Duelists can advance to the Top 4!
Welcome to Round 1 of the June 2023 North America Remote
Duel YCS! Duelists from across the continent are looking to take home the
title, and we’re starting with two great Duelists. First up is Kamal
Crooks-Valdez, from Florida, with his Purrely Deck. He’s facing Marc-Olivier
Routhier, from Trois-rivières in Quebec, using Kashtira. It’s time to Duel!
These Duelists put forth an amazing showing here at the 250th
YCS in Los Angeles. While they won’t be able to claim the title, one of them
can still walk away with the Super Rare Anotherverse Dragon Prize Card! It’s
Shunping Xu’s Runick Kashtira against Jacob Banuelos’s Floowandereeze. It’s
time to Duel!
This Feature Match is a battle of YCS Las Vegas Champions!
Adam Belohradsky, from Stockton, CA, won YCS Las Vegas in 2016 with Dracoslayer
Performapals. He’s facing Alex Cancel, from Houston, TX, who was one of the
winners of TEAM YCS Las Vegas back in February, playing Kashtira. Cancel is still
using Kashtira today, while Belohradsky is playing an extremely different Deck:
Traptrix!
