The third seed Shunping Xu has a strategy that we’re pretty sure no one else has brought to the tournament: Rokkets. He started the tournament with 10 straight wins, an impressive feat that secured his appearance in the Top 8 before the Swiss rounds even ended. His opponent is Mitchell Martin who has Lunalight / Zoodiac / Fire Fists and who we’ve featured previously this weekend. Only one of these players will make it to Top 4. It’s time to Duel!

Juan Carlos Panales Cortes from Aguas Calientes finished Swiss in 16th place as the only Infernoid player in the Top 32. He’s taking on Edwin Azuma Monreal Araiza from San Luiz Potosi who finished 25th after Swiss and his Salamangreat Deck. Panales Cortes may have the advantage as Infernoids can clear the opponent’s Graveyard which happens to be valuable resource for Salamangreat players. Only one of these talented Duelists will move on to the Top 4. It’s time to Duel!
Almost every competitor remaining in the tournament has had a Feature Match today, one of the exceptions being Austin Colling, who traveled here this weekend from Ohio. With Cyber Dragon variants all over the Top 8 bracket we decided to check in again with David Mendoza, the last Gren Maju Duelist left in the tournament. In his Top 32 Feature Match this morning Mendoza cleaved through his opponent in minutes; would luck be on his side once again, or was Austin Colling about to punch his ticket to the Top 4?
