Mark Vianello and his son Kristopher are here at the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier from Dewey, Arizona. Kristopher has been playing the game for 3 years and he won his invite to the Dragon Duel WCQ from a Dragon Duel Regional Qualifier in Las Vegas, which is a 4 hour drive for them.
Mark likes the interaction and camaraderie Kris has with the other Duelists he plays with. “They’re all speaking the same language!”

Melissa Lierman and her son Jonathan Lierman are here at the 2019 Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier from London, Ontario, Canada. Jonathan’s been playing for 2 years and he got his invite for the Dragon Duel WCQ from the Dragon Duel at the Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series at Niagara Falls in 2018.

Michael Jacobs is a local resident brand new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! scene. Less than a week ago, he found out about the YCS here in Atlanta while browsing the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME website, and decided to bring his two sons, Sidney and Max, to enjoy the YCS experience. Mr. Jacobs is glad that he did.

Alison Leverett is the mother of 2 well-known Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Duelists: Zachary Leverett and Benjamin Leverett. Benjamin Leverett participated in the World Championship in Tokyo, Japan last year, and Benjamin Leverett has recently been very successful in Dragon Duel tournaments. Alison has brought Zachary and Benjamin to at least 20 YCS events in total.
