If you register for an event while you are still enrolled in a previous event, you will forfeit all Public Event points for all events in which you are simultaneously registered.

Q: Will there be a Genesys Main Event at TEAM YCS Las Vegas?
A: There will not be a Genesys Main Event at TEAM YCS Las Vegas. The next Genesys Main Event will be held at YCS Columbus.
Q: What Genesys events are being offered at the TEAM YCS?
A: We will be hosting a Genesys Constructed ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! tournament as well as ongoing Genesys Constructed 8-Duelist tournaments throughout the weekend. See the Public Events section for more details on event details and prizing.
Q: What are the rules of Genesys Tournaments?
A: Genesys is a new way to construct your Dueling deck.
The Genesys rules are simple:
- No Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones.
- The standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies.
- Deck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event.
For the TEAM YCS Las Vegas, the Genesys format tournament will use the 100 Points cap for Deck-building.
If Deck Lists are required, Duelists should submit Deck Lists through NEURON instead of using paper forms.

Q. What is the Prize Wall?
A: The Prize Wall is an extension of Public Events! In addition to earning exclusive prizes for participating in Public Events, Duelists will also receive prize tickets. You can spend these prize tickets at the Prize Wall for various items offered. These items are subject to change, and to availability.
How do I earn Prize Tickets?
Each time you sign up for a Public Event* you will receive a prize ticket, and additional prize tickets will be distributed to the top finishers. The number of tickets awarded for doing well depends on the type of tournament. Any tickets found in this table are in addition to any specific prizing for the specific tournament.

Charity Tournament
Q: What is the cost to register for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Charity Tournament?
A: Duelists will pay $22.00 USD to receive four (4) tournament packs and registration in the event. This is the cost of four (4) tournament packs in the local currency, including any taxes and fees.
Q: What charity does the money from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Charity Tournament go to?
A: The money collected from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Charity Tournament will be donated to the Red Cross International for their continuing efforts to help with disaster relief.
Speed Duel Public Events Limited List
This event-only Forbidden & Limited List will be used for all Speed Duel Public Events held at this event.
This Forbidden & Limited List is legal throughout the event and Duelists must comply with the list if they wish to participate in Speed Duel Public Events.
Copies of the list will be available at the Public Events stage for Duelists to reference. The Speed Duel Limited List works like the Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS Forbidden and Limited List.

For Limited 2, you can choose up to 2 of the listed cards to use in your Deck. Whichever you choose, you will not be able to use any of the others. You can choose to have multiple copies of the same card if you like, but they will count towards the total limited number.
- Example: If you use 2 copies of Parasite Paranoid, you will not be able to use Cocoon of Ultra Evolution (Weevil Underwood Skill Card).
- Example: If you use 1 copy of Parasite Paranoid and 1 copy of Cocoon of Ultra Evolution (Weevil Underwood Skill Card) you would then not be able to use Allure of Darkness, Foolish Burial, etc.
