Let’s find out which team will move on with another victory! It’s time to Duel!
Duel 1
Wigglestove opened with Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi, Diabellstar the Black Witch, Magicians’ Souls, and two copies of Dominus Impulse.
Commer won the die roll and chose to go first! He chose to end his turn without making any plays.
Wigglestove drew Nibiru, the Primal Being for turn! He began by sending a copy of Dominus Impulse to the Graveyard to Special Summon Diabellstar the Black Witch and Set Deception of the Sinful Spoils from his Deck. He then activated Deception, and on resolution, Commer activated the effect of Mulcharmy Fuwalos. Wigglestove activated the effect of Deception, Tributing Diabellstar to search for The Hallowed Azamina. Next, he Special Summoned Magicians’ Souls from hand by sending another copy of Diabellstar to the Graveyard, then activated the effect of Souls, sending Deception and Hallowed to the Graveyard and drawing Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Aramasa and Mitsurugi Mirror!

Wigglestove Normal Summoned Aramasa and activated its effect, searching for Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi, then activated Mirror, Tributing Habakiri from his hand to Ritual Summon Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi. He activated the effect of the Tributed Habakiri to search for Mitsurugi Prayers, then used Souls and Aramasa to Link Summon S:P Little Knight! He entered the Battle Phase and attacked Commer’s Life Points directly with S:P and Murakumo. Still in the Battle Phase, he activated Prayers, Tributing Murakumo to search for and Special Summon Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji. He activated Saji’s effect to search for another copy of Mitsurugi Prayers, as well as Murakumo’s effect to Special Summon back Murakumo and search for Mitsurugi Great Purification. He attacked directly once again with Murakumo and wiped out the rest of Commer’s Life Points, winning the first Duel!

Duel 2
Wigglestove’s opening hand contained Deception of the Sinful Spoils, Dominus Impulse, Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji, Diabellstar the Black Witch, and Pre-Preparation of Rites.
Commer chose to go first once again! He began by Normal Summoning Dracotail Lukias, activating its effect to search for Dracotail Urgula. Next, he activated the effect of Dracotail Faimena, but Wigglestove Chained Dominus Impulse! Commer followed up by activating Rahu Dracotail, sending Dracotail Pan from his Deck and Urgula from hand to Fusion Summon Dracotail Arthalion! He added Pan back to hand and Set Dracotail Sting and Dracotail Flame to his backrow. Next, he added Faimena back to hand by returning Urgula to the bottom of his Deck. Finally, he Set a card to his backrow, and ended his turn.

Wigglestove drew Futsu no Mitama no Mitsurugi for turn! He began by Normal Summoning Saji and searching for Mitsurugi Prayers. He then activated Prayers, Tributing Futsu from hand, and Commer Chained Dracotail Sting, banishing Futsu and Impulse from Wigglestove’s Graveyard! Wigglestove searched for Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Aramasa and Special Summoned it, searching for Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi. He used Aramasa and Saji to Link Summon S:P Little Knight, then activated the effect of Habakiri, Special Summoning and Tributing Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Kusanagi from his Deck to add the banished Futsu back to his hand.
Wigglestove then sent Habakiri from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon Diabellstar the Black Witch and Set WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils to his backrow. He banished Diabellstar to Special Summon Dark Magician of Destruction and search for Magicians’ Souls, and proceeded to the Battle Phase. He used Dark Magician of Destruction to attack Dracotail Lukias, then in Main Phase 2, activated Deception of the Sinful Spoils, Tributing Futsu no Mitama no Mitsurugi from hand, but Commer responded with Dracotail Flame, negating Deception’s effect! Wigglestove attempted to activate the effect of the Tributed Futsu, but it was met by Commer’s Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. To follow up, Wigglestove activated Pre-Preparation of Rites, searching for Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi and Mitsurugi Mirror. He then Special Summoned Souls by sending Diabellstar from his Deck to the Graveyard.
Here, Commer activated the effect of Dracotail Faimena, using Dracotail Pan and another Faimena from hand to Fusion Summon Dracotail Arthalion! He added Faimena and Ash Blossom back to hand and Set Dracotail Sting and Rahu Dracotail his backrow, while also destroying Wigglestove’s Souls. Wigglestove then activated Mitsurugi Mirror, Tributing the Murakumo from his hand to Ritual Summon Futsu no Mitama no Mitsurugi and search for Mitsurugi Great Purification. Before Wigglestove could end his turn, Commer activated the effect of Nibiru, the Primal Being! Wigglestove Chained the effect of S:P, targeting his S:P and Futsu, but Commer Chained Dracotail Horn, targeting Wigglestove’s S:P. Knowing that Commer had powerful follow up for the next turn, Wigglestove conceded. We’re moving on to the all-important game 3!

Duel 3
Wigglestove chose to go first in the pivotal game 3! He opened with Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi, Futsu no Mitama no Mitsurugi, Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji, Dominus Impulse, and Deception of the Sinful Spoils. He began by activating Deception and using its effect, Tributing Futsu from hand to search for The Hallowed Azamina. However, when he activated Futsu’s effect to search, he was met by Commer’s Droll & Lock Bird! Wigglestove then activated Hallowed, sending Deception to the Graveyard to Special Summon Azamina Ilia Silvia! He proceeded to the End Phase and Set Deception back to his backrow and ended his turn.
Commer began his turn by activating Branded Fusion, but Wigglestove Chained the effect of Azamina Ilia Silvia, negating it! Next, Commer activated the effect of Dracotail Faimena, using Dracotail Pan and Mulcharmy Purulia from hand to Fusion Summon Dracotail Arthalion. He added Droll and Faimena back to hand and Set Rahu to his backrow, but when he activated Rahu, Wigglestove responded with Dominus Impulse! Commer then ended his turn.
Wigglestove drew Diabellstar the Black Witch for turn! He began by returning Ilia Silvia to his Extra Deck and adding Hallowed back to hand, then activated Hallowed, sending Deception to the Graveyard to Special Summon Azamina Ilia Silvia once again! Wigglestove then Normal Summoned Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji, but when he activated its effect, Commer Chained the effect of Dracotail Faimena, using Dracotail Arthalion from his side of the field and Mulcharmy Fuwalos in hand to Fusion Summon another Dracotail Arthalion as Wigglestove searched for Mitsurugi Ritual. Immediately afterwards, Commer used the effect of Arthalion to return Ilia Silvia to the Extra Deck!
From there, Wigglestove activated Mitsurugi Ritual, Tributing Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Aramasa and Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Kusanagi from the Deck to Special Summon Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi from hand. He activated Kusanagi’s effect, adding Ritual back to hand, but elected not to use the effect of Aramasa in order to play around Commer’s Droll & Lock Bird! He activated Ritual again, Special Summoning Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi from the Deck by Tributing Habakiri, then Special Summoned back Habakiri and searched for Mitsurugi Prayers. On resolution, Commer activated the effect of Droll & Lock Bird, but Wigglestove Chained the effect of Murakumo, leaving Commer with no other cards in hand! Wigglestove activated Prayers, Tributing Murakumo to search for another Aramasa and Special Summoning Kusanagi, then used Murakumo’s effect to search for Mitsurugi Great Purification and summon it back. Finally, Wigglestove sent Purification to the Graveyard to Special Summon Diabellstar the Black Witch and Set WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils from his Deck, then used Saji and Kusanagi to Xyz Summon Number 60: Dugares the Timeless. He activated Dugares’ effect to double the Attack Points of Murakumo. With that, Commer knew he could not survive Wigglestove’s upcoming Battle Phase, and conceded.

Despite the individual victory, neither team was able to win two out of three matches before time was called in the round. Therefore, both Duelists will be moving into Round 8 with 5-2 records!
