Welcome to YCS Atlanta!
The newest Forbidden and Limited List is in effect and is bound to be an Extreme Force as we approach YCS Atlanta!
1143 Duelists are here competing for the pride and prestige of becoming a YCS Champion. We have a variety of strategies represented today: Tournament-tested Decks like Trickstar, SPYRAL, True Draco, and Invoked are here, but new strategies from Extreme Force like Mekk-Knights and Mythical Beasts are also in attendance. The latest Forbidden and Limited List shakes up the field as well, with Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole, cards that have been Limited for years, removed from the Limited List entirely, allowing players to use up to 3 copies of each! In addition, the previously Forbidden cards Monster Reborn and Solemn Judgment have been moved to Limited status, giving lucky Duelists the ability to tap into the heart of the cards and draw these powerful cards from their Decks!
Trickstars, which were virtually untouched by the February 5th, 2018 Forbidden & Limited List, are anticipated to be a top contender this weekend, while Pendulum-based strategies featuring Heavymetalfoes Electrumite from Extreme Force are expected to be another top “Deck to beat”. Inspector Boarder from Extreme Force is also expected to give rise to powerful “stun” strategies this weekend, which will make it difficult for opponents to use the effects of their monsters. Other cards from Extreme Force, like Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights and Curious, the Lightsworn Dominion, are powerful enough to make a splash this weekend, but only time will tell which Decks will best make them shine.
Who among the sea of Duelists will come out on top this weekend? Which cards will prove themselves to be most powerful and most popular from Extreme Force? Follow the action here and find out! Welcome to YCS Atlanta, 2018!
