The Dragon Duel Championship is ready to begin! Alixander Yin won yesterday’s Dragon Duel, and Brian Evilsizer won today’s Dragon Duel. Now they meet in the Championship match to determine who will win a Set of Super Rare Darklord YCS Prize Cards! Alixander has Pendulum Magicians while Brian has ABC. It’s time to find our next champion! It’s time to Duel!

Duel 1

Evilsizer started off with Terraforming to add Union Hangar to his hand. Next, he activated Union Hangar and added C-Crush Wyvern to his hand. He Set 2 copies of Torrential Tribute and Normal Summoned A-Assault Core and used Union Hangar’s effect to equip C-Crush Wyvern from the Deck.

Yen Set 2 cards then activated Dragon Shrine, sending Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm to the Graveyard. He then used Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm’s effect to Special Summon it and used its effect to add Supreme King Gate Infinity to his hand. He then activated Supreme King Gate Infinity to the Pendulum Zone followed by Supreme King Gate Zero, then Yen used Supreme King Gate Infinity’s effect destroying both Pendulum Spells to add Instant Fusion to his hand! He then activated Foolish Burial, sending another Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm to the Graveyard. He then activated Instant Fusion, paying 1000 LP to Special Summon Lyrilusc – Independent Nightingale. He then Normal Summoned Lonefire Blossom then activated its effect, Tributing it to Special Summon another from the Deck. When the chain resolved, Evilsizer activated Torrential Tribute to clear the field, but Evilsizer used C-Crush Wyvern’s effect to protect A-Assault Core. C-Crush Wyvern’s effect activated to Special Summon the B-Buster Drake in his hand. Union Hangar’s effect then let Evilsizer equipped a C-Crush Wyvern from his Deck to B-Buster Drake.

Evilsizer drew Scapegoat for turn. Yen activated Magic Deflector. Evilsizer then used A-Assault Core and B-Buster Drake to Link Summon Qliphort Genius! B-Buster Drake’s effect let him add A-Assault Core to his hand, then C-Crush Wyvern’s effect let him Special Summon A-Assault Core! He then banished 3 of the Machines from his Graveyard to Special Summon ABC-Dragon Buster! He used ABC-Dragon Buster’s effect, discarding C-Crush Wyvern to banish Yen’s face-down Time Pendulumgraph. All of his monster’s attacked directly, leaving Yen at 300 LP.

Yen drew for turn, having just the one card and none on the field. He activated Chronograph Sorcerer to place Timegazer Magician in the Pendulum Zone. He then used the effect of Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm to Special Summon itself from the Graveyard then its other effect added Supreme King Gate Zero from his Deck to his hand. He then activated it in the Pendulum Zone and proceeded to Pendulum Summon Chronograph Sorcerer from the Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. He sent both monsters to the Extra Deck to Special Summon Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom but Evilsizer activated Torrential Tribute! Yen elected to go into the second Duel. Evilsizer is one win away from being crowned a Dragon Duel Champion!

Duel 2

Yen elected to go first. He activated Supreme King Gate Zero in the Pendulum Zone and Black Fang Magician in the other Pendulum Zone. He then Pendulum Summoned Stargazer Magician and Astrograph Sorcerer from his hand. He used both monsters to Link Summon Heavymetalfoes Electrumite and used its effect to send Supreme King Gate Infinity from the Deck to the Extra Deck. He then used Heavymetalfoes Electrumite’s other effect to destroy Black Fang Magician to add Supreme King Gate Infinity to his hand. Heavymetalfoes Electrumite’s mandatory effect triggered to draw Yen a card. He then activated Supreme King Gate Infinity in the vacant Pendulum Zone. He used Supreme King Gate Infinity’s effect, destroying it and Supreme King Gate Zero to add Instant Fusion from his Deck to his hand. He activated it, paying 1000 LP to Special Summon Lyrilusc – Independent Nightingale. he activated its effect to inflict 500 damage to Evilsizer. He then Normal Summoned Purple Poison Magician and used all 3 monsters to Link Summon Borreload Dragon!

Evilsizer drew Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit. He activated Union Hangar and used its effect to add B-Buster Drake from his Deck to his hand. He then Normal Summoned A-Assault Core and used Union Hangar’s effect to equip C-Crush Wyvern from the Deck to A-Assault Core. He then had A-Assault Core attack into Borreload, taking 1100 damage. A C-Crush Wyvern hit the Graveyard in A-Assault Core’s place and he used its effect to Special Summon B-Buster Drake from his hand. He then used the 2 monsters to Link Summon Qliphort Genius, then banished A-Assault Core, B-Buster Drake and C-Crush Wyvern, from the Graveyard to Special Summon ABC-Dragon Buster! He tried to use ABC’s effect to banish Borreload but since Borreload can’t be targeted by card effects the activation couldn’t happen.

Yen attacked with Borreload Dragon and used its effect to take control of Evilsizer’s ABC-Dragon Buster. Yen used ABC-Dragon Buster’s effect, discarding the Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode to banish Qliphort Genius but Evilsizer chained Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit to destroy ABC-Dragon Buster!

Evilsizer dree Terraforming, adding Union Hangar to his hand. He activated the second copy over the first, adding A-Assault Core to his hand. Evilsizer then Normal Summoned B-Buster Drake and used Hangar’s effect to equip A-Assault Core from the Deck to B-Buster Drake. He then Set Union Hangar over the previous one and passed.

Yen activated Raigeki. Evilsizer sent the equipped A-Assault Core to the Graveyard in B-Buster Drake’s place. Yen then used Borreload’s effect to have B-Buster Drake lose 500 ATK then Borreload attacked and destroyed B-Buster Drake by battle.

Evilsizer drew Gold Gadget for turn. He Normal Summoned it and used the effect to Special Summon A-Assault Core. He then used the 2 monsters to Xyz Summon Number 39: Utopia! Then he used Utopia to Xyz Summon Number S39: Utopia the Lightning! Evilsizer attacked with Utopia the Lightning and used the effect to boost its ATK to 5000, overpowering Borreload Dragon!

Yen drew to 2 cards in hand. He Tributed Utopia the Lightning for Kumongous, the Sticky String Kaiju! But there was no follow-up after that.

Evilsizer drew Terraforming. He banished an A-Assault Core, B-Buster Drake and C-Crush Wyvern for another ABC-Dragon Buster! He attacked with both monsters to take the match!
