The Invoked cards are a perfect fit for Shaddolls, and it’s showing with how popular the Deck was this weekend. Invoked have Magical Meltdown to protect their own Fusion Summons, and the Field Spell also plays perfectly with Shaddoll Fusion and El Shaddoll Fusion. Shaddolls don’t particularly need their Normal Summon, leaving them free to play Aleister the Invoker each turn. The goal of the Deck is to simply play its powerful Fusion Monsters, controlling the Duel with options like El Shaddoll Winda and Invoked Mechaba.

The Dinosaur strategy hasn’t changed too much over the years. Like its older variants, you’re looking to Special Summon a lot of Dinosaurs and make plays out of the Extra Deck. Babycerasaurus, Petiteranodon, Miscellaneousaurus, Giant Rex,and Souleating Oviraptor all offer Special Summons. The True Kings also help field more monsters while destroying Babycerasaurus and Petiteranodon. Lost World protects your setup, and you can even destroy the token to use Lost World’s effect to load your Graveyard.
Finally, here’s Scott Page’s Dinosaur Deck.

Page’s Deck is almost identical to Silverman’s. The Main Deck has two more cards: an additional copy of each of Mind Control and Lost World. He doesn’t have Metaverse in the Side Deck, instead moving Starving Venom Fusion Dragon there so he has space for Evilswarm Exciton Knight. Beyond those small changes, the Decks are identical. It’s no surprise that they would have similar Decks, since they would have been testing their Decks together.
These three great Decks, along with their skilled play and teamwork, have helped crown three new YCS Champions!
