North America’s final Ultimate Duelist Series (UDS) Invitational is here! The UDS Invitational – Winter 2020 is about to begin in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Duelists who have earned enough UDS Points to compete are about to take one more shot at the Championship Belt. The stakes are high. The victor in this weekend’s tournament will earn a prized Championship Belt that entitles him or her to free entry to events, VIP seating, and a 2-Round Bye at all Tier 3 events through the 2025 WCQ. Although additional prizes are also up for grabs, including a cloth game mat featuring Elemental HERO Stratos, all Duelists’ eyes are on the belt.

Top Duelists are here to compete this weekend, and the field of Decks is wide open. A new Forbidden & Limited List took effect less than a month ago, and the release of the Ignition Assault booster set on January 31^st added even more mystery to the field. Plus, the release of Structure Deck: Shaddoll Showdown just yesterday has placed Shaddolls on Duelists’ minds. All of this is happening while Duelists are just beginning to understand the impact that Legendary Duelists: Magical Hero and the release of Magicians’ Souls had on Dueling when they were released on January 17^th.

It’s anyone’s guess which Duelist and which Deck will prevail this weekend. The new Forbidden & Limited List cut down on the power of Sky Strikers, Orcusts, Thunder Dragons, and True Dracos, which were top Decks just over a month ago, and since then, Magicians’ Souls has returned SPYRAL Decks to competitive viability. Plus, Ignition Assault introduced new themes to the game, including @Ignisters and Plunder Patrolls, which Duelists have had little time to use. Powerful tech cards from Ignition Assault, like Lightning Storm, will be used in lots of different Decks this weekend, and will likely have a big impact on Decks that can’t defend themselves against it.

South America will have the honor of hosting the very last Ultimate Duelist Series Invitational in Bogota, Colombia from February 29^th through March 1^st. But for now, Duelists are after the Championship Belt that is right here in the Cox Business Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They’re shuffling up their Decks and about to begin – it’s almost time to Duel!
