1238 Duelists have gathered here at the Connecticut Convention Center to compete for the honor of becoming the next Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) Champion!

This weekend’s competitive Dueling will be unlike any before it, with new cards from the recently released Dimension Force booster set and drastic changes to the Forbidden & Limited List shaking up the way the Advanced Format is played. The new “Therion” cards and other tech choices from Dimension Force will give well-practiced Duelists who were able to harness their power the edge this weekend, while the new Forbidden & Limited List tears down some competitive Decks and gives rise to new ones.

Duelists are excited to be back to in-person play, with many players in attendance this weekend competing in their first YCS event since 2020. There will be 9 Rounds of Swiss today, followed by 2 additional Swiss Rounds tomorrow, and then a cut to the Top 32. At the end of the weekend, there can be only one YCS champion.

The Duelist are shuffling up their Decks and Round 1 is about to begin. It’s time to Duel!
