For the first time, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series is in Vancouver, Canada!

731 Duelists have traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia, and are competing to be crowned the next YCS champion!

The current format is incredibly diverse. A multitude of decks have seen competitive success over the last month. Kashtira Decks remain as strong a contender as ever, as Kashtira Arise-Heart remains one of the scariest monsters to have to see on your opponent’s field. However, there are several other strong strategies, including Purrely, Spright, Mathmech, Vanquish Soul, and Runick strategies, all of which have proven to be formidable.

The recently released Duelist Nexus booster set brings with it support for several older strategies, including Rescue-ACE and Unchained. Both strategies performed well at YCS São Paulo, and a lot of players are sure to be better prepared for them this weekend! Old favorites like Altergeist and Infernoble Knights are equipped with new tools as well, revitalized by recently-released cards that add new dimensions to these fan-favorite Decks.

The Duelists are shuffling up their Decks as Round 1 is about to begin! Only one Duelist will get to take home the trophy, as well as an Ultra Rare Anotherverse Gluttonia prize card! It’s time to Duel!
