Keeping Up With The Stevens: Round 5
It’s time to check in with team Maxx “Steve”! We met them at the start of the day, and they claimed an early victory in their Round 1 Feature Match. So how are they doing now?
It looks like several teams have managed to overcome the legendary power of the Stevens! In Round 2, team White Duston and a Dream played a mix of Maliss and Blue-Eyes. Steven Darling was able to win against Blue-Eyes, but Kangas and Rodriguez were felled by Maliss and Blue-Eyes respectively.
Next, in Round 3, they battled the Virginia Rejects. Well, Virginia should reconsider – they were able to take down the mighty Stevens! Rodriguez was able to take down Fiendsmith Maliss, but Kangas and Darling were defeated by Maliss and Memento.
Finally, Round 4 against team Trade Table Games. Darling was able to take down Maliss, but Kangas and Rodriguez were defeated by Maliss and Blue-Eyes once more. Kangas wanted the world to know he was hit by Dimension Shifter in every Duel.
Don’t let these results fool you – Maxx “Steve” are in high spirits! They’re here to have a great time Dueling, and they’re happy to award their Bounty Team packs to their victorious foes. Here they are facing their next opponents: Team Chaos. Look at Kangas’s smile – maybe he finally avoided the Maliss matchup?
