Kazandjian drew Officiating Reverie. He passed.
Hong played Pot of Prosperity, banishing six cards. He revealed several Kewl Tune cards and disruptive effects, and added Kewl Tune Rotary to his hand. He used Rotary’s effect, revealing Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion, to Normal Summon Rotary. Kazandjian flipped Forbidden Crown to lock down Rotary.
Kazandjian drew Ghost Belle. He activated the effect of Reverie, discarding a Ghost Ogre to Special Summon the Reverie. It attacked and destroyed Rotary.
Hong played Synchro Overtake, and Kazandjian negated it with Ghost Belle.
Kazandjian drew Stare of the Snake Hair. He used its effect, but Hong flipped up Dominus Purge. Officiating Reverie attacked directly.
Hong played JJ “Kewl Tune”, and Normal Summoned Ghost Belle. He used JJ’s effect by Tributing Ghost Belle, but Kazandjian destroyed the Field Spell with Ghost Ogre.

Kazandjian drew Ectoplasmic Fortification. Reverie attacked directly, dropping Hong to 2100 Life Points.
Hong Normal Summoned Kewl Tune Cue, and used its effect to Special Summon Kewl Tune Mix. Mix’s effect let him add Rotary to his hand. He used Cue and Rotary to Synchro Summon Kewl Tune Track Maker. Cue let him see Zombie Reborn and Pumpking the King of Grave Ghosts. He banished Pumpking and left Zombie Reborn on top. Track Maker’s effect put Kewl Tune Reco in Hong’s hand, and then Rotary let him see Kazandjian’s hand and add Kewl Tune Synchro to his hand. He activated Kewl Tune Synchro and added Rotary to his hand. He used Rotary’s effect to Normal Summon Kewl Tune Reco, and Reco put Kewl Tune Mix in his hand. He used the on-field Mix and an Ash Blossom for Kewl Tune Remix, and destroyed Reverie with Mix’s effect. He Synchro Summoned another Track Maker, then brought Kewl Tune Loudness War to the field. He used Track Maker and Loudness War to drop Kewl Tune B2B! That allowed his Tuners to attack twice – Remix and B2B dealt over 8000 damage together!

Duel 2
Kazandjian began this time with Kashtira Fenrir, Call of the Haunted, Uni-Zombie, Ectoplasmic Fortification, and Pumpking the King of Grave Ghosts.
Kazandjian began with Ectoplasmic Fortification again, and just like last time, Hong had Ash Blossom. Kazandjian used Pumpking’s effect to Set Call of the Haunted and discard the Pumpking. He Special Summoned Fenrir, and used its effect to get another Fenrir in his hand. He flipped up Call of the Haunted to Special Summon Pumpking, but Hong had Infinite Impermanence to negate Pumpking. Kazandjian Normal Summoned Uni-Zombie, using its effect to increase its own Level by sending Glow-Up Bloom to the Graveyard. He used Bloom’s effect to add Stare of the Snake Hair to his hand, and used Stare’s effect to add Call of the Forgotten to his hand. He used Uni-Zombie and Pumpking to Synchro Summon Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon Lord! He activated Call of the Forgotten, which Set his third Call of the Haunted from his Deck.
Hong started by Normal Summoning Kewl Tune Reco, and Kazandjian responded with Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon Lord to Special Summon Stare of the Snake Hair. Reco’s effect put Kewl Tune Rotary in his hand. Then, Stare’s effect targeted Reco, and Hong responded with Kewl Tune Synchro! Kazandjian responded to that with Call of the Haunted to Special Summon Pumpking. Pumpking hit the field, then Hong added Mix to his hand and Synchro Summoned using Reco and Mix, bringing Kewl Tune RS to the field. In a new Chain, Mix targeted Fenrir, Reco targeted the Set Call of the Haunted, Pumpking activated, and Call of the Forgotten tried to send RS to the Graveyard. Hong had Ghost Ogre as the final Chain Link, to destroy Call of the Forgotten. Fenrir and Call of the Haunted were destroyed, and Pumpking brought Great Mammoth of the Netherworld to the field. Mammoth targeted RS to destroy it, and Hong used RS’s effect to negate Mammoth. Hong used Rotary’s effect in hand, revealing Cue to Normal Summon the Cue. Cue brought Mix to the field, which added Reco back to his hand. He used Cue and Rotary to Synchro Summon Track Maker. Cue revealed Stare and Glow-Up Bloom, with Bloom staying on top of the Deck. Rotary let Hong add Kewl Tune Synchro to his hand, and Track Maker got JJ “Kewl Tune”. He used Track Maker with Reco to Synchro Summon Zalen the Shackled Dragon, with Track Maker returning Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon Lord to the Extra Deck. Hong activated JJ “Kewl Tune”, Tributing Mix to Special Summon Cue from his Deck. He then used Cue and Zalen to Synchro Summon B2B. Once more, his Tuners could attack twice! RS was boosted up to 4400 ATK, and it smashed into the Mammoth. B2B destroyed Stare. RS attacked over Pumpking. That left Kazandjian with just 2850 Life Points, and B2B finished the Match!

Thomas Hong takes this Match with Kewl Tune!
