There’s a new pre-registration bonus, premiering right here at YCS Montréal!

Duelists who pre-register for this weekend’s tournament receive a random promotional pin that they can wear, just like the one pictured above, for each Main Event that they pre-register to compete in. These pins are replacing the pre-registration coins that were previously awarded. If a player pre-registers for both the Geneys Format Main Event and Advanced Format Main Event (and timely turns in a Deck List and checks in on time for each), that player will receive two random pins.

In total, 13 different pins are available – one for each of the prize cards available in the previous season of Dueling. Different pins have varying rarities, too.

The most common pins feature the 10 cards that were previously available as a random promo for making it into Day 2 of a YCS. These include Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind, Cyber Dragon, and Charge of the Light Brigade.

The rarer pins feature cards that were awarded for making it even further in the tournament. The Card Trooper pin is rarer than those described above, and the Effect Veiler pin is even rarer than the Card Trooper pin.

Finally, the thirteenth pin is the rarest pin of all. That pin features Anotherverse Stratios, which was the prize card for the champion during the past year of YCS events.
