There’s a New YCS Prize Card Coming to a YCS Near You!

If you’re at the 2019 North America WCQ, you may have heard Joey Wheeler and Ishizu Ishtar announce that a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Prize Card will be introduced at the next YCS event – YCS Portland, Oregon on August 24th and 25th. YCS Toronto Update: Prize Cards!

August 31st, 2015

YCS Toronto is the first YCS after the 2015 WCQ’s, and as a result it’s the first one to debut the new Prize Card: Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn! Duelists have traveled far and wide to win this card, but only a select few will earn it. There are two Super Rare copies given out to 2nd and 3rd Place of the main event, and one Ultra Rare copy given to the winner of the whole thing!

The New Prize Card!

One of the greatest things about this weekend is that YCS Toronto marks the debut of a new Championship Prize Card!  While Number 106: Giant Hand has been a coveted prize for over a year, it’s now retired from prize card duty and an all-new Championship promo will be warded to top finishers this weekend.  Feast your eyes upon the crown jewel of the weekend, Rex Goodwin’s Ascension Sky Dragon!

Welcome to GenCon Indy 2011 – And a New Prize Card

Welcome to the 2011 Indianapolis Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series! Each year, Konami Digital Entertainment holds a YCS at GenCon, the largest gaming convention in North America. And a new prize card is being unveiled!

The previous prize cards – the Darklords – will be reprinted for everyone to have in the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years.
