We’re in Round 3 of the Main Event, with another Feature Match! Carlos Pecina is from Houston, TX, using an Adventure Synchron Deck featuring the new Revolution Synchron! His opponent is Jose Lopez Zambrano, from New York, using Kashtira!

Duel 1

Pecina won the dice roll and chose to play first. He started with Small World, revealing Droll & Lock Bird from his hand. He banished Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring from the Deck to add Revolution Synchron to his hand. Upon resolution, Lopez used Dimension Shifter! Pecina Normal Summoned Reborn Tengu, and used it with the Revolution in his hand to Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon in his Extra Monster Zone, in Attack Position. Tengu Special Summoned another Tengu in Defense Position.

Lopez used Terraforming to get Pressured Planet Wraitsoth. He activated it to add Kashtira Unicorn to his hand. He Special Summoned Unicorn and added Kashtira Birth to his hand. He played that, then Special Summoned Kashtira Riseheart. Pecina saw where this was going, and decided to concede the first Duel. That Dimension Shifter had been exactly what Lopez needed to shut Pecina down!

Duel 2

Pecina started his turn, and Lopez had Dimension Shifter once again! Pecina took some time to think, eventually just putting one monster face-down.

Lopez Special Summoned Unicorn and used its effect to get Kashtira Birth. He activated Birth, then Normal Summoned Kashtira Fenrir. Its effect added Kashtira Riseheart to his hand. He Special Summoned it, using its effect to banish a Fenrir from his Deck to become Level 7. He used Birth to Special Summon the banished Fenrir, and stacked it with Riseheart for Dark Armed, the Dragon of Annihilation! It detached Fenrir (which was banished due to Shifter) and destroyed Pecina’s Set Droll & Lock Bird, then banished Shifter from his own Graveyard. Unicorn attacked directly, banishing Black Rose Dragon from Pecina’s Extra Deck.

Pecina drew, and Lopez had another Dimension Shifter! Dark Armed had emptied his Graveyard to let him use it! Pecina could only Set a monster.

Lopez Special Summoned Fenrir with Birth. He tried using Fenrir’s effect, and Pecina negated it with Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. Lopez played Kashtiratheosis, getting Scareclaw Kashtira to the field in Defense Position. Dark Armed destroyed Pecina’s Set monster, and Lopez attacked with everything!

Jose Lopez takes a commanding victory thanks to Dimension Shifter and Kashtira!
