It all comes down to this. Alejandro Garcia Moreno from Mexico is trying to earn his third trip to the World Championship, while Angel Fernando Ovalla Rivera from Panama is trying to join his countryman, Galileo Mauricio De Obaldia Soza, who earned his invite via the World Qualifying Point Playoff on Friday. We’ve seen both of them at the Feature Match table already, and the matchup is Danger! Thunder Dragon against Salamangreat.
Alejandro Garcia Moreno is a star studded player, having won YCS Costa Rica 2016, Mexico Nationals 2016, UDS Peru, UDS Trinidad and Tobago, as well as qualifying for the World Championship twice before. He has brought Danger! Thunder Dragon this weekend, capable of some of the most powerful combos we’ve seen yet. His opponent is Erick Bernardo Vega Quezada, who has brought his Orcust Deck all the way to the Top 4.
